NOTE: If accepted into the ECN Network of Closers, you will be working as a signing agent and not qualified to practice law or answer legal questions. You will not be required to explain the loan documents to the borrower. However, it will be within the scope of your duties to point out basic provisions in the documents such as closing statement construction, truth in lending, right to cancel, etc. Your purpose will be to make sure the documents are properly executed and to witness the signatures of the borrowers.
